FoodApp service officially started working in Zagreb in 2016. Currently, they operate only with restaurants in Zagreb and cooperate with about 30 restaurants. From conversations with Ivan Miličević, owner of the service, we learn that they follow global trends because they cooperate in development with foreign partners.

We offer each restaurant the possibility of ordering food online and/or booking tables through our own domain/site and we run a complete online business for the restaurant. In this way, the restaurant can go about its business, and we take care of online business. From the creation of a website, mobile application, online payments, advertising (Google, Facebook, Tripadvisor), he pointed out.

FoodApp monitored the development of several different services such as the aforementioned Pauze.hr and the former platform ekupifino.hr, which, as they say, was backed by the entire logistics of the ekupi service. They realized that they need to adopt a new business model and now they are listing the restaurant in the food portal for free, creating a website for free, and the restaurant pays maintenance for the first three months 250 kn / month, while regular maintenance is 400 kn / month. After the online business is raised above HRK 20,000 per month, we work with a commission of up to 3% – with these conditions, we run a complete online restaurant business.

We decided to take a completely different approach. We didn't hide the address and contact number of the restaurant like other services... With our own online food ordering portal (foodapp.hr), we have decided to open our own website with a system for online ordering and/or table reservation.
For us, new food delivery services are not competition because they offer an additional service – their own delivery that they charge, which some restaurants need. We welcome new services and follow trends.

Our mission is a partnership , i.e. a win-win situation. Satisfaction of our restaurants and customer satisfaction, and thus further satisfaction and development of FoodApp.
